The 2019 Fuller Cup Matches will be played on Tuesday, May 7th, at Indianwood Golf & Country Club, 1081 Indianwood Rd., Lake Orion MI, 48361, phone (248) 693-8049. Plans have been finalized for this competition between the state’s top amateurs and the Michigan PGA professionals. Hopefully, your clothing will be mailed to you in advance and at worst case scenario, Ken will bring it to you on Tuesday morning.  Please make sure you wear khaki pants for the day.

The schedule is as follows:

7:00 a.m. – Practice Range Open.
7:30 a.m. – Team pictures for both professionals and amateurs.
8:00 a.m. – Four-Ball Match Play (6 matches – 1 point per match).
12:40 p.m. – Singles Match Play (12 matches – 1 point per match).
5:30 – 7:00 p.m. – Hors d’oeuvres and presentation of Fuller Cup.

One practice round will be available for players only.  If you wish to play a practice round, you must contact the pro shop at (248) 693-8049.

Indianwood Golf & CC professional David Zink will generously provide carts and range balls for the day of the matches.  The GAM will cover food and beverage costs for the day (Lunch and hors d’oeuvres). There will be a cash bar during the reception.

The GAM and PGA have again agreed to use the Ryder Cup / Walker Cup practice in which each match is worth one point.  Tied matches at the end of 18 holes will split the point, half for each side.

Please call us at the GAM office if you have any questions.  Tee times and pairings will be located on the website by the middle of next week located under the Fuller Cup heading.  We look forward to your participation and appreciate your support of amateur golf at this prestigious competition.
