The Fuller Cup is a long running rivalry held between the best amateurs in the state and their professional counterparts. The GAM selects the amateur team based on the previous year's performance while the Michigan Section PGA does the selection for their side. The format for the Fuller Cup Matches is a morning session with six four-ball matches followed by twelve singles matches in the afternoon. Each match is worth 1 point to the winning side, matches that end on the eighteenth hole result in the match being halved in 1/2 a point awarded to each side.
