EASTERN MICHIGAN TAKES SECOND AT MAC MATCH PLAY

The Eastern Michigan Men’s Golf Team claimed second place at the MAC Match Play Championship at the Lake Jovita South Course in Dade City, Fla. The Eagles fell to Ball State in the finals, 4-2, after defeating Ohio University in the first round and Eastern Kentucky in the semifinals.

Sophomore Brett White (Caledonia) was 2-1-0 for the week, freshman Kyle Rodes (Plymouth) went 1-1-1 for the tournament, and sophomore Josh Heinze (Canton) was 0-2-1.
