USGA Qualifying Player Information
US Senior Open Qualifier
This correspondence will verify your entry into the U.S. Senior Open Sectional Qualifying at Battle Creek Country Club on Monday, May 13, 2019.  

INFORMATION

GPS AND RANGE FINDERS: Distance measuring devices are NOT permitted in any USGA Open Championship.

NEW GROOVE CONDITION OF COMPETITION: The player’s clubs must conform to the groove and punch mark specifications in the Rules of Golf that are effective from January 1, 2010.

You should arrive at your assigned tee at least ten (10) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time for instructions from the starter.

QUALIFIER DATE: Monday, May 13 

DIRECTIONS: Take I-94 to Capital Ave. (Exit 97). Go N ¼ miles to Country Club Dr. Turn L on Country Club Dr.

PRACTICE ROUND:  For practice rounds at Battle Creek CC please contact the golf shop for rates and availability - (269) 962-6121. Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as US Senior Open Qualifier contestants.

FOOD:  The clubhouse will have food available for purchase.

CADDIES/CARTS:  All players are required to walk. Contestants may carry their own bag or bring their own caddie. Caddies must also walk. Pull carts may be used if the host club allows them. Spectator carts are not permitted by the USGA.

PRACTICE RANGE:  Complimentary for players on the day of the competition, prior to play only.  Open one hour before first tee time. 

PLAYOFF:  In case of ties, there will be a playoff immediately following play for the final spot as well as the order for the two (2) alternate positions.

WITHDRAWAL:  If you must withdraw, please contact the USGA at (908) 234-2300 leading up to the tournament.  If you have to withdraw the night or weekend before then please contact the GAM office at (248) 478-9242. If you call after business hours, please leave message on voice mail #124.  Failure to notify may result in suspension from future USGA and GAM competitions.
