Championship Player Memo
This correspondence will verify your entry for the GAM Women’s Senior Amateur Championship at Grand Traverse Resort – Spruce Run Course on August 27-28, 2007.

Please see your starting time and starting tee assignment from the enclosed pairing sheets. Please note that on the second day we will have a 9:00 a.m. shotgun, and you should be in your cart ready to head out by 8:30 a.m.

INFORMATION

CHAMPIONSHIP YARDAGE: Available @ GAM.org, under Tournaments / GAM Championships / Women’s Championship / Women’s Senior – Course Setup.

DIRECTIONS: Take I-75 to M-72 W. Follow M-72 to US-31. Turn right on US-31 north. Resort is ½ mile on the right side.

RESORT ADDRESS: 100 Grand Traverse Village Blvd., Acme, MI 49610.

LODGING: Grand Traverse Resort (800) 236-1577. Mention that you are a competitor in the GAM Women’s Senior Championship to receive special rates.

PRACTICE ROUND: Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as GAM Women’s Senior Amateur Championship contestants – (231) 534-6470. $50 per person on Spruce Run.

CADDIES/CARTS: Use of motorized cart is mandatory for all players. Caddies are not allowed for any riding events.

FOOD: A complimentary lunch Monday and Tuesday.

PRACTICE RANGE: Complimentary for players prior to play on each day of the competition. The range will be open at 7:00 a.m.

PLAYOFF: A tie for the Championship only will be determined by a sudden-death playoff immediately after the final scores have been posted. All other ties will be broken by a scorecard playoff that is used and recommended by the USGA. It is the player’s responsibility to be ready to play when called to the tee.

PRIZES: Prizes will be awarded to the low gross and low net finishers in each flight. The overall low gross scorer will have her name engraved on the Sara Wold Trophy.

WITHDRAWAL: If you must withdraw, contact the GAM office at (248) 478-9242. If you call after business hours, please leave message on voice mail #24. Failure to notify may result in suspension from future GAM competitions.
