Championship Player Memo

CHAMPIONSHIP YARDAGE: Available @, under Tournaments / GAM Championships / GAM Senior Four-Ball – Course Setup.

DIRECTIONS: Take M-53 to Bad Axe (where M-53 becomes M-142). Continue on M-142 to Sand Beach Road. Course is on North side of road.

CLUB ADDRESS: 3175 Sand Beach Road, Bad Axe, MI 48413.

LODGING: Holiday Inn Express, 989-269-5293. Franklin Inn Motor Lodge, 989-269-9951. Please identify yourself as a Four-Ball competitor to receive a special rate if your reservation is made by May 27, 2007.

PRACTICE ROUNDS: Please contact the golf shop for rates and availability, (989) 269-8132. Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as GAM Senior Four-Ball contestants.

GPS AND RANGE FINDERS: In this competition a player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance ONLY. However, if, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g., gradient, wind-speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional functions are actually used.

FOOD: A buffet lunch will be served at the club on days of the competition.

CADDIES/CARTS: Automotive transportation is mandatory for both days of the Championship and is included in your entry fee. Carts are not permitted for spectators.

PRACTICE RANGE: Opens at 7:00 a.m. and is complimentary for players on the day of the competition, prior to play only.

PLAYOFF: A tie for the Championship only will be determined by a sudden death playoff. Ties for runner-up will be broken by scorecard playoff.

WITHDRAWAL: If you must withdraw, contact the GAM office at (248) 478-9242. If you call after business hours, please leave message on voice mail #24. Failure to notify may result in suspension from future GAM competitions.
