SUBJECT:5th Michigan Net Amateur Championship @ Great Oaks Country Club

This correspondence will verify your entry for the Michigan Net Amateur Championship at Great Oaks on Tuesday, September 12 through Wednesday, September 13, 2006.

Please note your starting time and starting tee assignment from the enclosed pairing sheets. You should arrive at your assigned tee at least ten (10) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time for instructions from the starter.


CHAMPIONSHIP YARDAGE: Available @ GAM.org, under Tournaments / GAM Championships / Net Championships / Net Amateur Championship – Course Setup.

DIRECTIONS: Take I-75 North past M-59 to University exit, head East to Oakland University, turn left to Walton Rd, right on Walton Rd. (will turn into University Dr.)

CLUB ADDRESS: 777 Great Oaks Blvd., Rochester Hills, MI 48307.

LODGING: Best Western Inn (248) 299-1210, Red Roof Inn (248) 853-6400.

PRACTICE ROUND: Please contact the golf shop for rates and availability, (248) 651-5200. Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as Michigan Net Amateur contestants.

GAM DRESS CODE: Shirts with collars and sleeves are required; however women may wear collarless shirts with sleeves or sleeveless shirts with collars. Neither tank tops, tee shirts, short shorts, gym shorts, cut-offs, bathing suits nor denim pants/shorts are permitted. Players and caddies are expected to adhere to the dress code.

FOOD: There is a complimentary luncheon for all players following Wednesdays round of golf. The clubhouse will also have food available for purchase.

CADDIES/CARTS: All players are required to ride and are responsible for the cart fee each day. ONLY COMPETITORS MAY RIDE IN A CART. Spectators and caddies are prohibited from riding.

PRACTICE RANGE: Complimentary for players on the day of the competition, prior to play only. Open 7:15 a.m.

PLAYOFF: In case of ties, there will be a three hole playoff (cumulative net) for the overall and division champions.

WITHDRAWAL: If you must withdraw, contact the GAM office at (248) 478-9242. If you call after business hours, please leave message on voice mail #24. Failure to notify may result in suspension from future GAM competitio
