Championship Player Memo

2ND ROUND PAIRINGS: Round Two pairings will be based on round one scores with the lowest scorers teeing off last.

DIRECTIONS: The club is located 1 mile south of M-66 on Marion Center Rd (C-65). C-65 south no longer intersects M-66. Take M-66 to US-31 and then a short distance south to pick up C-65.

LODGING: Special rates have been set for all contestants at the Sleep Inn (888) 252-2505, American Inn (231) 237-0988. When calling, please specify that you are playing in the GAM Senior Championship in order to receive the special room rate. Rooms must be booked by September 1st to get special rate.

PRACTICE ROUND: Practice rounds are available anytime, you must call the Pro shop in advance and identify yourself as GAM Senior Championship Contestants, (231) 547-2611.

FOOD (FOR COMPETITORS ONLY): A complimentary lunch will be available each day of the tournament.

LATE TO TEE: Note under Rule 6-3 and Optional Condition as stated in Appendix I shall be in effect. All players must be present on the tee and ready to play at the time laid down by the Committee. The order of play is not relevant. See Decision 6-3a/2.

CADDIES/CARTS: Automotive transportation is mandatory. Cart fees are included in the entry fee. Note: Only two carts per group of three. ONLY COMPETITORS MAY RIDE.

PLAYOFF: A playoff for the Championship only will take place immediately after the final scores have been posted. It is the player’s responsibility to be ready to play when called to the tee.

WITHDRAWAL: If you must withdraw, contact the GAM office at (248) 478-9242. If you call the GAM office after business hours, please leave a message on voice mail extension 24.
