This correspondence will verify your entry into the GAM Senior Amateur Championship at the Country Club of Jackson on Monday and Tuesday, September 25 and 26, 2006. There is a total of 168 players that will compete.

Please note your starting time and starting tee assignment from the enclosed pairing sheets. You should arrive at the tee at least ten minutes prior to your scheduled starting time for instructions from the starter.

INFORMATION

2ND ROUND PAIRINGS: Round Two pairings will be based on round one scores with the lowest scorers teeing off last.

DIRECTIONS: Take I-94 West to exit 142. Go South on US-127 for 5.5 miles to M-50 West. Keep left as you come to the stop light. Turn left (West) on M-50/McDivitt. Go 1.5 miles to 90 degree turn to right, road becomes Francis. Continue on Francis about 300 feet and turn left on Hinckley. Go about 1 mile, then turn left on Badgley. Go 1 mile on Badgley to stop light. Turn left onto Horton Road, which jogs to the right almost immediately. Go 1 mile further, club is on your left.

PRACTICE ROUND: Practice rounds are available but you must call the Pro shop in advance and identify yourself as a GAM Senior Championship Contestant, (517) 782-5347.

FOOD (FOR COMPETITORS ONLY): A complimentary lunch will be available each day of the tournament.

LATE TO TEE: Note under Rule 6-3 and Optional Condition as stated in Appendix I shall be in effect. All players must be present on the tee and ready to play at the time laid down by the Committee. The order of play is not relevant. See Decision 6-3a/2.

CADDIES/CARTS: Automotive transportation is mandatory. Cart fees are included in the entry fee. Note: Only two carts per group of three. ONLY COMPETITORS MAY RIDE. CADDIES ARE NOT PERMITTED AT ANY PART OF CHAMPIONSHIP.

PLAYOFF: A playoff for the overall Champion will take place immediately after the final scores have been posted. It is the player’s responsibility to be ready to play when called to the tee.
