Championship Player Memo

CHAMPIONSHIP YARDAGE: Available @ GAM.org, under Tournaments / GAM Championships / GAM Championship – Course Setup.

DIRECTIONS: The Club is located on the west side of Lahser halfway between eight mile and nine mile. (Map Enclosed)

CLUB ADDRESS: 21631 Lahser Rd – Southfield, MI 48034

LODGING: Holiday Inn Southfield (248) 353-7700, please call for details, and identify yourself as playing in the GAM Championship for special rate.

PRACTICE ROUNDS: Please contact the golf shop for rates and availability, (248) 353-3553. Practice Rounds will not be available from August 4th til 7th. Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as GAM Championship contestants.

FOOD: A complimentary lunch will be available on the first day of the competition. Food will be available for purchase on the other day of the competition.

CADDIES/CARTS: All players are required to walk. Contestants may carry their own bag or bring their own caddie. Caddies must also walk. Caddies are available through Plum Hollow CC, Please call ahead and ask for Dan Kachadourian, (248) 255-0513. Caddies must be reserved before August 3rd. Carts are not permitted for caddies or spectators. Pull carts may be used if the club allows them.

PRACTICE RANGE: Opens at 6:30 a.m. and is complimentary for players on the day of the competition, prior to play only.

PLAYOFF: A tie for the Championship only will be determined by a sudden death playoff. All other ties will be awarded duplicate prizes.

WITHDRAWAL: If you must withdraw, contact the GAM office at (248) 478-9242. If you call after business hours, please leave message on voice mail #24. Failure to notify may result in suspension from future GAM competitions.
