Championship Field Player Information
This correspondence verifies your qualification into the 1st GAM Net Stableford at Polo Fields Golf & Country Club on Tuesday, August 13, 2019

TOURNAMENT DATE: Tuesday, August 13th 

TEE TIME: You should arrive at your assigned tee at least ten (10) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time for instructions from the starter.

PRACTICE RANGE: Complimentary for players on the day of the competition, prior to play only.  The driving range will open one hour before the first tee time.

CHAMPIONSHIP YARDAGE: Available @ GAM.org, under Tournaments / GAM Championships / Net Championships / Net Stableford – Course Setup. All yardage is projected and subject to change.

DIRECTIONS:  Take I-94 to Zeeb Rd. (exit 169) Go S 1 mile. The club entrance is on the left.

PRACTICE ROUND: Please contact the golf shop for rates and availability, (734) 998-3456.  Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as GAM Net Stableford contestants.

CADDIES/CARTS:  Automotive transportation is mandatory in this championship. Entry fee covers cart fee for the Championship. Note: Only Competitors may ride in a Cart.  Spectators are prohibited from riding. Caddies are not allowed.

GPS AND RANGE FINDERS: In this competition, if a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his/her play, AND USES IT FOR THOSE OTHER CONDITIONS the player is in breach of Rule 4.3, for which the penalty is TWO STROKES for the first breach of this rule and DISQUALIFICATION for a subsequent breach during the stipulated round.

FOOD:  Complimentary lunch will be provided after the round for competitors only.

PLAYOFF:  In case of a tie for the Overall Championship, a three-hole aggregate playoff will begin immediately after all scores have been posted. Ties for winners within the Divisions will be broken by scorecard playoff using the USGA Tiebreaker Method. 

PRIZES:  The player with the best score among all divisions will be declared the overall champion. In addition, the players with the best score from each respective division will receive a prize. If a division has five (5) or fewer registrants, said division will be combined with the other division of the same gender.

WITHDRAWAL:  If you have to withdraw, please notify the GAM by e-mailing tournamententry@gam.org. If you must withdraw within 24 hours of the competition, please contact the GAM office at (248) 478-9242 ext. 124. Failure to notify may result in suspension from future GAM competitions. Refunds will be issued if the GAM office is notified prior to the close of entries for that competition. After the entry deadline, fees will be refunded only in the event of injury or illness (with a verified doctor's note). There is a $20 processing fee applied to all refunds.
