Championship Player Memo
This correspondence will verify your entry into the GAM Senior Tournament of Champions at Walnut Hills Golf Club on Monday, September 28, 2015.  


TEE TIME: You should arrive at your assigned tee at least ten (10) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time for instructions from the starter.

DIRECTIONS:  Take I-96 to 127 N to Lake Lansing Road. Go E on Lake Lansing Road for about 3 ½ miles. The road makes several curves – stay on Lake Lansing Road. The club is located on Lake Lansing Road about ½ mile past Hagadorn Road.

CLUB ADDRESS: 2874 Lake Lansing Road, East Lansing, MI 48823.

PRACTICE ROUNDS: Please contact the golf shop for rates and availability, (517) 332-8640.  Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as GAM Senior Tournament of Champions contestant.

GPS AND RANGE FINDERS: In this competition a player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance ONLY. However, if, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g., gradient, wind-speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional functions are actually used.

FOOD:   A complimentary lunch will be served at the club after the completion of your round.

CADDIES/CARTS: Automotive transportation is mandatory for the Championship and is included in your entry fee. Carts are not permitted for spectators. Caddies are not allowed.

PRACTICE RANGE: Opens one hour prior to the first tee time on days of the competition and is complimentary for players on the day of the competition, prior to play only.

PLAYOFF: A tie for the Championship only will be determined by a sudden death playoff.  Ties for runner-up will be broken by scorecard playoff.

WITHDRAWAL:  If you must withdraw, contact the GAM office at (248) 478-9242. If you call after business hours, please leave message on voice mail #24.  Failure to notify may result in suspension from future GAM competitions.
