This correspondence will verify your entry into the GAM Senior Mid-Am Team at Detroit Golf Club on Monday, October 6, 2014   


CHAMPIONSHIP YARDAGE: Available @, under Tournaments / GAM Championships / GAM Senior Mid-Am Team – Course Setup.

DIRECTIONS:  Located between 6 Mile Road (McNichols) and 7 Mile Road. W of Woodward and E of John C, Lodge (M-10). Entrance is off Ponchatrain

Morning rounds SHOTGUN START - 9 & 9:30 a.m. 

Afternoon rounds will also be SHOTGUN Start

PRACTICE ROUNDS: Please contact the golf shops for rates and availability, (313) 345-1818.  Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as GAM Senior Mid-Am Team contestants.

GPS AND RANGE FINDERS: In this competition a player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance ONLY. However, if, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g., gradient, wind-speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional functions are actually used.

FOOD:   A lunch will be served between the two rounds.

CADDIES/CARTS: Automotive transportation is mandatory for the Championship and is included in your entry fee. Carts are not permitted for spectators. No caddies will be allowed.

PRACTICE RANGE: Opens one hour prior to the shotgun start and is complimentary for players, prior to play only.

PLAYOFF: A tie for the Championship only will be determined by a sudden death playoff.  Ties for runner-up will be broken by scorecard playoff.

WITHDRAWAL:  If you must withdraw, contact the GAM office at (248) 478-9242. If you call after business hours, please leave message on voice mail #24.  Failure to notify may result in suspension from future GAM competitions.
