SUBJECT:19th GAM Senior Amateur Championship @ Port Huron Golf Club

This correspondence will verify your entry into the GAM Senior Amateur Championship at Port Huron Golf Club in Fort Gratiot on Monday and Tuesday, September 12 and 13, 2005. There is a total of 135 players that will compete.

Please note your starting time and starting tee assignment from the enclosed pairing sheets. You should arrive at the tee at least ten minutes prior to your scheduled starting time for instructions from the starter.


2ND ROUND PAIRINGS: Round Two pairings will be based on round one scores with the lowest scorers teeing off last.

DIRECTIONS: The club is located at 4101 Fairway Dr. Take I-94 East until it ends at M-25, turn left (north) on M-25 and proceed for 3 miles to Kraft Rd. Go right (east) on Kraft Rd and follow that till Fairway Dr, go left on Fairway and the club is on your left.

LODGING: Special rates have been set for all contestants at the Holiday Inn Express (Port Huron) (810) 987-5999, Holiday Inn Express (Sarnia) (519) 336-4130. When calling, please specify that you are playing in the GAM Senior Championship in order to receive the special room rate. Rooms must be booked by September 5th to get special rate.

PRACTICE ROUND: Practice rounds are available but you must call the Pro shop in advance and identify yourself as a GAM Senior Championship Contestant, (810) 385-3881.

FOOD (FOR COMPETITORS ONLY): A complimentary lunch will be available each day of the tournament.

LATE TO TEE: Note under Rule 6-3 and Optional Condition as stated in Appendix I shall be in effect. All players must be present on the tee and ready to play at the time laid down by the Committee. The order of play is not relevant. See Decision 6-3a/2.

CADDIES/CARTS: Automotive transportation is mandatory. Cart fees are included in the entry fee. Note: Only two carts per group of three. ONLY COMPETITORS MAY RIDE.

PLAYOFF: A playoff for the Championship only will take place immediately after the final scores have been posted. It is the player’s responsibility to be ready to play when called to the tee.

WITHDRAWAL: If you must withdraw, contact the GAM office at (248) 478-9242. If you call the GAM office after business hours, please leave a message on voice mail extension 24.
