Championship Player Memo
This correspondence will verify your qualification for the GAM Championship at the Country Club of Detroit in Grosse Pointe Farms on Monday, August 8th. There will be 78 players who will compete over 36 holes that day with the field being cut to the low 30 and ties for the final 18 holes on Tuesday, August 9th.

Please note your starting time and starting tee assignment from the enclosed pairing sheets. You should arrive at your assigned tee at least ten (10) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time for instructions from the starter.
Note: Should there be a need to adjust second round tee times, players will be notified when they return their first round scorecards. Be sure to confirm your afternoon starting time before leaving the scoring area.

DIRECTIONS: Take I-94 to Moross. Go East to Kercheval, then North two blocks to Country Club Dr., left to club. (Map Enclosed)

PRACTICE ROUNDS: Please contact the golf shop for rates and availability, (313) 881-8779. Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as GAM Championship contestants.

FOOD: A complimentary lunch will be available on the first day of the competition. Food will be available for purchase on the other day of the competition.

CADDIES/CARTS: All players are required to walk. Contestants may carry their own bag or bring their own caddie. Caddies must also walk. Carts are not permitted for caddies or spectators. Pull carts are not allowed.

PRACTICE RANGE: Opens at 7:00 a.m. and is complimentary for players on the day of the competition, prior to play only.

PLAYOFF: A tie for the Championship only will be determined by a sudden death playoff. All other ties will be awarded duplicate prizes.

WITHDRAWAL: If you must withdraw, contact the GAM office at (248) 478-9242. If you call after business hours, please leave message on voice mail #24. Failure to notify may result in suspension from future GAM competitions.
