This correspondence verifies your qualification into the 1st GAM Net Match Play Championship at Hawk Hollow Golf Club on Sunday, September 23, 2012.

TEE TIME: Sunday morning play will be a SHOTGUN. 8:00 AM Shotgun Start. Please arrive at Hawk Hollow in plenty of time so that we can start on time.

PRACTICE RANGE: Complimentary for players on the day of the competition, prior to play only.  Open one hour before the shotgun.

CHAMPIONSHIP YARDAGE: Available @, under Tournaments / GAM Championships / Net Championships / Net Match Play Championship – Course Setup.

DIRECTIONS:  Take I-96 to 127 N to the Lake Lansing Road exit. Go E 1.2 miles to Abbott/Chandler Road. Go left (N) 2.5 miles to the course on the right.

CLUB ADDRESS:  15101 Chandler Road, Bath, MI 48808.

CADDIES/CARTS:  Automotive transportation is mandatory in this championship. Entry fee covers cart fees for both the qualifiers and the Championship. Note: Only Competitors may ride in a Cart.  Spectators are prohibited from riding.

LODGING:  A block of rooms has been reserved at the Holiday Inn Express on Lake Lansing Road – phone – 517-333-0300. The price for Saturday night, September 22nd is $109 plus taxes, the price for Sunday and Monday nights is $89. Your reservation must be made by August 22, 2012, to receive these rates and you need to use the block code – GAM or GAM Net Match Play.

PRACTICE ROUND:  Call the pro shop directly at (517) 641-4295 to make arrangements for a practice round.

GPS AND RANGE FINDERS: In this competition, a player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance ONLY. However, if, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g., gradient, wind-speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional functions are actually used

FOOD:  Complimentary lunch will be provided between the stroke play and the first round of match play on Sunday.

PLAYOFF:  USGA recommended procedure for a scorecard playoff will be used to determine the final spot(s) in the match play draw. The stipulated round will be extended in the matches until a winner is determined.

PRIZES:  Awards will be given to the Champion, Runner-Up and medalist in stroke play.
