GAM Tournament of Champions at Detroit Golf Club on Monday, October 3, 2011. Men will play the North Course. Women will play the South Course.
TEE TIME: You should arrive at your assigned tee at least ten (10) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time for instructions from the starter.
DIRECTIONS: Located between 6 Mile Road (McNichols) and 7 Mile Road. W of Woodward and E of John C, Lodge (M-10). Entrance is off Ponchatrain.

PRACTICE ROUND: Please contact the golf shop for rates and availability of practice rounds - (313) 345-1818. Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as GAM Tournament of Champions contestants. Men will play the North Course. Women will play the South Course.
GPS AND RANGE FINDERS: In this competition, a player may obtain distance information by using a device
that measures distance ONLY. However, if, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device that
is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect her play (e.g., gradient, wind-speed, temperature,
etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any
such additional functions are actually used. PHONE (E.G., I-PHONE, BLACKBERRY, ETC.) CAPABLE OF
OPERATING AN APPLICATION FOR YARDAGE OR OTHER CONDITIONS OF GOLF A PROHIBITED
DEVICE SHALL INCLUDE ANY CELL PHONE OR SMART INFORMATION
ONE BALL RULE: The One Ball Rule will be in effect for this championship.
FOOD: A complimentary lunch for players only will be provided after the round. Other food and beverage may be purchased at the halfway house.
CADDIES/CARTS: Automotive transportation is mandatory in this championship. NOTE: Only competitors may ride in a cart. There will be no caddies or spectator carts allowed.
PRACTICE RANGE: Complimentary for players on the day of the competition, prior to play only. Open one hour before the first tee time.
PLAYOFF: A playoff for the Championship will take place immediately after the final scores have been posted. It is the player’s responsibility to be ready to play when called to the tee.
WITHDRAWAL: If you have to withdraw the night or weekend before, please contact the GAM office at (248) 478-9242. If you call after business hours, please leave a message on voice mail #24. Failure to notify may result in suspension from future GAM competitions.
