INFORMATION

2ND DAY PAIRINGS: Repaired by score for a 9:30 Shotgun Start on Tuesday.

CHAMPIONSHIP YARDAGE: Available @ GAM.org, under Tournaments / GAM Championships / Women’s Championship / Women’s Senior – Course Setup.

DIRECTIONS: US-127 to E Pickard Rd. Take E. Pickard Rd West to N. Mission Rd. Go North on N. Mission Rd to E. River Rd. Take E. River Rd West to Club Entrance.

CLUB ADDRESS: 3686 E. River Rd – Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858

LODGING: Contact the reservations department at the Mt. Pleasant Holiday Inn at 1-800-292-8891. Please specify when you call that you are playing in the GAM Women’s Sr. Amateur Championship to verify you receive the correct rate.

PRACTICE ROUND: Please contact the golf shop for rates and availability, (989) 773-7671. Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as GAM Women’s Sr. Amateur Championship contestants.

CADDIES/CARTS: Use of motorized cart is mandatory for all players.

FOOD: A complimentary continental breakfast will be available each day. The cocktail reception with heavy hors deavours following Mondays round, will have a cash bar. A buffet lunch will be provided on Tuesday after the round.

PRACTICE RANGE: Complimentary for players prior to play on each day of the competition. The range will be open at 6:30 a.m.

PLAYOFF: A tie for the Championship only will be determined by a sudden-death playoff immediately after the final scores have been posted. All other ties will be broken by a scorecard playoff that is used and recommended by the USGA. It is the player’s responsibility to be ready to play when called to the tee.

PRIZES: Prizes will be awarded to the low gross and low net finishers in each flight. The overall low gross scorer will have her name engraved on the Sara Wold Trophy.

WITHDRAWAL: If you must withdraw, contact the GAM office at (248) 478-9242. If you call after business hours, please leave message on voice mail #24. Failure to notify may result in suspension from future GAM competitions.
