Championship Player Memo
TEE TIME: You should arrive at your assigned tee at least ten (10) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time for instructions from the starter.

DIRECTIONS: Take Telegraph Road to Square Lake Road. Go W on Square Lake Road and then S on Club Drive.

CLUB ADDRESS: 1401 Club Drive, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302.

Format:

Monday, June 7 – 18 holes, stroke play; the low 32 Senior Players qualify for Match Play & Low 16 qualify for Super Senior Match Play Division
Match Play: General numerical USGA draw shall be used.
The stipulated round shall be extended to as many holes as required for a match to be won.

Tuesday, June 8Morning – 16 Matches for Senior Division & 8 Matches for Super Senior Division
Tuesday, June 8 Afternoon – 8 Matches for Senior Division
Wednesday, June 9 Morning – 4 Matches for each Division
Wednesday, June 9 Afternoon – 2 Semi-Final Matches for each Division
Thursday, June 10Morning – Final Match for each Division

LODGING: Crowne Plaza Auburn Hills – 248-373-4550. Reservations must be made by May 21, 2010, to get the special room rate of $79 plus tax. Identify yourself as A GAM Senior Match Play contestant and use the code SMP when making your reservation.

PRACTICE ROUND: Please contact the golf shop for rates and availability, (248) 332-7070. Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as GAM Senior Match Play contestants.

FOOD: On Monday lunch will be provided for the players. Afternoon players should plan on eating before their round. The clubhouse will have food available for purchase on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

CADDIES/CARTS: Carts are mandatory for all players. Entry fee covers cart for the entire competition.

PRACTICE RANGE: Complimentary for players on the day of the competition, prior to play only. Open 7:00 a.m.

PLAYOFF: A sudden death playoff for the final spot(s) in both divisions will take place immediately after the final scores have been posted.

WITHDRAWAL: If you have to withdraw the night or weekend before, please contact the GAM office at (248) 478-9242. If you call after business hours, please leave message on voice mail #24. Failure to notify may result in suspension from future GAM competitions.
