Championship Player Memo

2ND ROUND PAIRINGS: Will be available via www.gam.org and via phone, a number will be posted on the scoreboard.

CHAMPIONSHIP YARDAGE: Available @ GAM.org, under Tournaments / GAM Championships / GAM Women’s Championship – Course Setup.

DIRECTIONS: Located 4 ½ Miles North of Owosso. M-52 North to Juddville Rd. Go West on Juddville to Chipman. Take Chipman Rd North to Club Entrance.

PRACTICE ROUNDS: Please contact the golf shop for rates and availability, (989) 723-2592. Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as GAM Championship contestants.

FOOD: A complimentary lunch will be available on both days of the competition.

CADDIES/CARTS: All players are required to walk. Contestants may carry their own bag or bring their own caddie. Caddies must also walk. Pull carts may be used if the club allows them.

PRACTICE RANGE: Opens at 8:00 a.m. and is complimentary for players on the day of the competition, prior to play only.

PLAYOFF: A tie for the Championship only will be determined by a sudden-death playoff immediately after the final scores have been posted. All other ties will be decided by a method recommended by the USGA. This method states that we must match cards to determine the winner based on the best score for the last nine holes. It is the player’s responsibility to be ready to play when called to the tee.

PRIZES: Prizes will be awarded to the low gross and low net finishers in each flight. The overall low gross scorer will have her name engraved on the Betty Richart Trophy.

WITHDRAWAL: If you must withdraw, contact the GAM office at (248) 478-9242. If you call after business hours, please leave message on voice mail #24. Failure to notify may result in suspension from future GAM competitions.
