Championship Player Memo

DIRECTIONS: Take I-75 to exit 81 (Lapeer Road). Go north on Lapeer Road to Indianwood Road (just north of downtown Lake Orion). Turn left (west) on Indianwood Road - 2 miles to the club.

CLUB ADDRESS: 1081 Indianwood Road, Lake Orion, MI 48361.

LODGING: Best Western Palace Inn (248) 391-2755.

PRACTICE ROUND: Please contact the golf shop for rates and availability on the Old Course (248) 693-8049. Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as GAM Chrysler Club Championship contestants.

RANGEFINDERS/GPS: Rangefinders are allowed in this championship.

CELL PHONES: The use of a cell phone during the stipulated round is not permitted.

ONE BALL RULE: The One Ball Rule will be in effect for this championship.

FOOD: A continental breakfast will be available at both courses at 7:45 a.m. A complimentary lunch for players only will be provided after the round. Other food and beverage may be purchased at the halfway house.

CADDIES/CARTS: Automotive transportation is mandatory in this championship. NOTE: Only competitors may ride in a cart. There will be no caddies allowed.

PRACTICE RANGE: Complimentary for players on the day of the competition, prior to play only. Open 7:45 a.m.

PLAYOFF: A playoff for the Championship will take place immediately after the final scores have been posted. It is the player’s responsibility to be ready to play when called to the tee.

CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND: The top four males and females will qualify for the Championship Round at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Florida, December 10-14, 2008.

WITHDRAWAL: If you have to withdraw the night or weekend before then please contact the GAM office at (248) 478-9242. If you call after business hours, please leave message on voice mail #24. Failure to notify may result in suspension from future GAM competitions.
