2nd GAM Junior Kickoff

You should arrive at your assigned tee at least ten (10) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time for instructions from the starter.

TOURNAMENT DATE: Saturday, April 25th – Sunday, April 26th 

DIRECTIONS: Take US-23 to exit 37A (Washtenaw Avenue). Go E 1/3 miles to Golfside Road. Go S on Golfside 1/2 mile to Packard Road. Go E - club will be on the right.

PRACTICE ROUND:  Please contact the golf shop for rates and availability, (734) 434-2040.  Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as GAM Junior Kickoff contestants.  

GPS AND RANGE FINDERS: In this competition, if a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his/her play AND USES IT FOR THOSE OTHER CONDITIONS the player is in breach of Rule 4-3, for which the penalty is the GENERAL PENALTY for the first breach of this rule and DISQUALIFICATION for a subsequent breach during the round.

GAM DRESS CODE:  Shirts with collars and sleeves are required; however, women may wear collarless shirts with sleeves or sleeveless shirts with collars.  Neither tank tops, tee shirts, short shorts, gym shorts, cut-offs, bathing suits nor denim pants/shorts are permitted.  Players and caddies are expected to adhere to the dress code.

FOOD:  A complimentary lunch will be provided to all of the participants on Sunday. There is food available for purchase all weekend at Washtenaw Golf Club. 

CADDIES/CARTS:  All players are required to walk. Contestants must carry their own bag, caddies are not permitted.  Pull carts may be used if the club allows.  Spectator carts are only permitted if a request, accompanied by a doctor’s note confirming the spectator’s need for a cart, is submitted to the GAM at least two days prior to the competition. :  Complimentary for players on the day of the competition, prior to play only. The driving range will open one hour before the first tee time. It is a limited driving range so the max distance you can hit is 200 yards.

PLAYOFF:  A playoff for the Championship in any Division will take place immediately after the final scores have been posted. It is the player's responsibility to be ready to play when called to the tee. 

WITHDRAWAL:  If you have to withdraw, please notify the GAM by e-mailing Refunds will be issued if the GAM office is notified prior to the close of entries for that competition. After the entry deadline, fees will be refunded only in the event of injury or illness (with a verified doctor's note). There is a $20 processing fee applied to all refunds.
