104th Michigan Amateur Championship 6/22/2015 - 6/26/2015
Plum Hollow Country Club will play host to the 104th Michigan Amateur for the
first time when the state’s most prestigious amateur championship heads to this
historic venue June 22-26. Plum Hollow hosted the 1947 PGA Championship and the
1957 Western Open, and in recent years has been the venue for multiple GAM and
USGA competitions. For competitors not exempt, sectional qualifying for the
104th Michigan Amateur will be contested at 14 sites from May 7 – June 6. There
will also be a Second Chance Qualifier held at Owosso Country Club on June 10.
Michigan Amateur begins with two rounds of stroke play, over a two-day period.
At the completion of stroke play, the field is cut to the low 64 for the first round of
match play. Match play continues for three days and six rounds until a champion
emerges on the final afternoon of the tournament. As with all GAM tournaments,
spectators are welcome and admission is free.

Monday, June 22 - First round, 18 holes
Tuesday, June 23 - Second round, 18 holes

match play shall be decided immediately after completion of the second round by
a hole-by-hole playoff.
