This junior event features a combination of stroke and match play, similar to the format of the Michigan Amateur. There are also 14-15 year-old and 13-and-under divisions. Contestants playing at Lakelands, a 1920s-era course that has been upgraded to account for modern golf club and ball technology, will face tight fairways, elevated greens and challenging side-hill lies.
