The 33rd Michigan Girls' Junior State Amateur will make a stop at Forest Akers in 2011. A familiar location to many juniors golfers this championship is sure to fill up so make sure you get your entry in early. Rosalie Shyu and Lindsey Lammers took home the Stroke and Match Play titles in 2010 at Burning Tree Golf and Country Club. With the growth in quality of Girls' golf in Michigan the GAM has expanded the Match Play portion of this championship and 16 players will now advance after the Stroke Play portion has completed.
