The 19th GAM Net Team event is scheduled to take place at Edgewood Country Club in Commerce Township on September 8th. Five sectional qualifiers will be held throughout July around the state to make sure that Michigan golfers from all over the state are able to qualify for this fun and competitive championship. Registration for the event closes on June 22nd. Bill Hobson and Tom Waske will play the role of defending champions after their four shot victory in the men’s division, Sean Gouda and Yvette Johnson will be the defending mixed team champions and Deb Horning and Sonia Pysh-Denison will be the returning champions in the women’s division after an impressive nine shot victory at Michaywe Pines in 2008.
